A lecturer by profession and a singer by passion, Swagatika Rath is amongst the leading female voices of oDiA music industry. She is considered one of the most versatile oDiA singers — her range of songs includes film music, bhajanas, traditional oDiA palligita and Odissi.

She has sung over 300 songs for Films, Modern Albums and Bhajans. Swagatika is best remembered for her breezy songs. Some good examples of her melodious numbers are Aago mora madhu malati composed by Prafulla Kar (Gruha Laxmi) and Chaanda naa tume taraa directed by Basudev Rath (Chinhnaa Achinhnaa).
