Geeta Pattnaik…! Yes, she has rightly justified her name the best. Geeta is classically trained, and has been one of the leading playback singers in oDiA film industry since the early 70’s. Geeta is recognized as one of the greatest singers in the oDiA cinema.

Geeta made her entry when competition was intense from non oDiA singers for ODIA SONGS and some of them were very popular in Bollywood.

But it is to note that her entry in 1970 and the her contemporary Trupti Das had indeed solved the problems of ODIA music directors to some extent which was due to lack of oDiA female playback singers at that time. And soon she became Directors’ favorite.
